Position Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in a school-based setting with the updated California Teaching Certificate
Position Details
- Full-time or part-time roles available
- 1099 independent contractor
- Caseloads tailored to your availability
- Contract runs through the remainder of the current school year
- Option for renewal based on performance and district needs
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual assessments and create individualized therapy plans for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based teletherapy focused on articulation, fluency, and language development
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families via video conferencing to support each students progress
- Monitor and document progress, adapt therapy approaches as needed, and participate in virtual IEP meetings
Interview Process
- Brief screening call (1015 minutes) with a VocoVision recruiter
- Technology check (15 minutes) to ensure youre ready for virtual work
- Virtual interview (2030 minutes) with the school district
- Offers typically extended within 2448 hours following the final interview
Compensation for this position ranges from $45to $65 an hour. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
