The Associate Marketing Technology Manager utilizes technology and general marketing knowledge to support marketing efforts on a corporate level, working collaboratively with the (Senior) Marketing Technology Manager on all technical aspects of the organization's marketing automation tools, including email marketing, marketing lead management, database/list management, campaign execution and analysis of campaign metrics.
This position will often work under the guidance of the (Senior) Marketing Technology Manager as they use the marketing systems such as Pardot, Salesforce.com, the Google suite of products, and other third-party solutions. The incumbent will assist with research to support marketing campaign preparation.
Primary Accountabilities:
Works within all marketing-related technology programs and systems, including Pardot, Salesforce.com, Zoom, Survey Monkey and maintaining records of the evolving Inmar stack
Collaborates with Product Marketing Managers and Sales on campaigns, strategy, and execution
Sets up programs / campaigns (emails, forms, landing pages, etc.), including creating assets (email, landing page) through templates/HTML coding
Sets up, tests, and executes lead gen and marketing campaigns (including email campaigns, trade shows, webinars, advertising, etc.) in several virtual environments to ensure message quality
Executes automation efforts for non-marketing aspects of the company, such as sales-based training webinars, PFM monthly system update alerts and various customer campaigns
Assists with the design and implementation of automated business rules for opt-in programs
Works with the (Senior) Marketing Technology Manager and the Salesforce team to collaborate on best practices for maintaining marketing data quality Maintains quality of marketing contact database including data governance and segmentation programs as directed by (Senior) Marketing Technology Manager
Works with (Senior) Marketing Technology Manager on strategy and execution for data usage and maximum delivery on all marketing campaigns
Assists with implementing standard processes (as it applies to marketing automation)
Analyzes and optimizes campaigns through learnings regarding methodology around email campaigns, including structure of emails, send times, segmentation, etc.
Understands marketing dashboards and reporting to interpret open rates, click through, deliverability, conversions and communicate this data to Sales Leaders and Product Marketing Managers
Assembles reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting and summarizing information
Serves as “consultant” to stakeholders regarding results of campaigns and reporting, providing feedback, interpretation, and recommendations as to campaigns’ results
Manages and execute automation efforts for non-Marketing aspects of the company as directed by Marketing Technology Manager, such as sales-based training webinars, monthly system update alerts and various customer campaigns
Manages marketing aspects of CRM system (Salesforce.com), as directed by Marketing Technology Manager, including: Creates and manages marketing related SFDC campaigns
Creates, manages and cleans campaign member lists
Leverages data enrichment tools to research missing information and develop new leads as well as connecting and cleaning sales contact data.
Provides day-to-day end-user support as needed (including system configuration, complex formulas and system maintenance)
Educates other users with best practices to enhance and increase their knowledge of Salesforce.com
Additional Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors in business, marketing, or communications required
1-3 years of experience working with a marketing automation tool (i.e.,Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.), or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position required
Experience working with a CRM system (i.e., SalesForce or NetSuite), a plus
Aptitude for learning new technology concepts and systems/software quickly
Working knowledge of Word, Excel or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides is required
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and other web programming languages is a HUGE plus
Working knowledge of project management software (i.e., Wrike, ASANA or Percolate) is a plus
Understanding of key online marketing strategies and concept
