NOW HIRING: Customer Service Representative – Pharmacy Operations (Onsite)
PAY RATE: $20.40/hour
WORK MODEL: Onsite at Cary, NC
JOB TYPE: Temp-to-Perm (based on performance & attendance)
IMPORTANT NOTES: Attendance is critical; No cell phone use at desk.
We’re hiring a Customer Service Representative to support Pharmacy Operations by handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling medication deliveries, and assisting patients with prescription-related inquiries.
SCHEDULE:
- 11:30 AM–8:00 PM, Mon–Fri or Tue–Sat
- Rotating Saturdays (once per month with a weekday off)
- Training & work are onsite: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (3–6 weeks)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle inbound and outbound pharmacy calls
- Schedule refills, deliveries, and payments
- Answer prescription status and insurance-related questions
- Document call notes and run medical claims
- Demonstrate empathy when assisting patients
- Escalate clinical questions to pharmacists or nurses as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ year of recent call center experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle high call volumes
- Proficient with Microsoft applications
- Strong attention to detail and professional phone etiquette
- Pharmacy or medical experience is a plus
