We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. This position is ideal for an analytical, detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to both day‑to‑day accounting operations and long‑term process improvements. As a senior member of the accounting team, you will support financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and audit activities while also serving as a resource and mentor to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation.
- Perform account reconciliations and prepare detailed financial statements.
- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare sales tax returns and other required financial filings.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Mentor and support junior accounting team members.
- Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Participate in special projects, system upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and refine internal controls and accounting procedures to strengthen operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Requires 3–5 years of professional experience. Public accounting experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
