How you will contribute:
Learn and understandMicromedex’s products, business model, strategy, culture, etc. to develop a deep understanding of the business and support its revenue goals through contracting activities.
Initiate, review, redline, and efficiently negotiate a broad range of transactional contracts including, but not limited to, software as a serviceor cloud servicesagreements, master agreements, statements of work, trial agreements, non-disclosure agreements,and vendor agreements. Some familiarity with business associate agreementsand data privacy termsandgovernmentcontractingisa plus.
SupportMicromedexbyefficientlymanagingstandard and complexcontracts.
Analyze contract terms and conditions, evaluate prior terms and conditions,determine the need for contract amendments or renewals,and make recommendations and/or negotiaterevisionswithinguidelines,utilizing contract playbooks and feedback from subject matter expertsto support the company’s financial objectives.
Coordinate contract review andcollaborate withinternalsubject matter experts andfunctional leads (e.g., in house counsel, sales, compliance, finance/accounting, information security, etc.)to receive and provide guidance on contract terms and risks;draft alternate contract provisions that are aligned with company policiesand stakeholder feedback.
Develop strong business relationships with keyinternal stakeholdersincludingMicromedex leadership, and external parties such as customers and suppliers to ensure an effective, efficient andbeneficialcontracting experience.
Assist with managing playbooks, templates, processes and clause librariesanddrive compliance withMicromedexcontractingpolicies and procedures.
Work with existing contract management systems and contract processes.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed, requested, and/or assigned.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s Degree with 8 + years of experiencedrafting and negotiatingcontractsin the technology field(including SaaS/cloud terms), withpreferablysome of that experience inhealthcare anddata privacy.
Strongdraftingand negotiationskills anddemonstratedability to negotiatecomplex transactions.
Practical, business-driven problem-solving skillswith proven ability tomanage competing prioritiesand close complex transactionsin a dynamicfast-pacedenvironment.
Exceptionallydetailoriented, possesses a sense of urgencyand producehigh-qualityworkwith minimal supervision.
Anunwaveringcommitment tocustomer service forinternal and external clients.
Exceptionalinterpersonal skillsand verbal and written communication skillswith theabilitytoinfluence and drive change andcommunicate with diverse personalitiesin atactful, reliable and flexiblemanner.
Advanced level skills with Microsoft WordandPowerPoint, andexperience with or ability to learn to use CRM and CLM tools

The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.
