As a Pharmacy Manager, you will ensure safe, optimal and efficacious drug therapy for all patients. Responsibilities include providing pharmacy information to physician and nursing staff, and providing pharmacotherapy to patients, while ensuring their safety. You will communicate with other health care professionals as appropriate, and be an active member of the health care team.

Licensure Requirements: Must have open, active, and in good standing IN State Pharmacist License
Education: Pharm. D.
Years of Experience: 1+ years of experience of opening up a new pharmacy
Setting: Outpatient Pharmacy
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $78.00+ DOE
Background/ Drug Requirements: Must be willing to submit to a background check, health and drug screen.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and operational oversight for the outpatient hospital pharmacy, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant medication services.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff; oversee scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including State Board of Pharmacy, Joint Commission, and hospital policies.
- Oversee medication dispensing processes, patient counseling, prescription verification, and workflow optimization to support timely patient care and discharge needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case management, and hospital leadership to support continuity of care and outpatient clinical services.
- Manage inventory, procurement, controlled substances, and medication storage, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and minimizing waste and shortages.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and service excellence.
- Monitor and manage pharmacy budget, staffing metrics, and operational KPIs.
- Handle escalated patient concerns and resolve medication-related issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Oversee pharmacy technology systems.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and accreditation activities; ensure readiness at all times.
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
