Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor leads all daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant handling of materials, components, and finished products within a highly regulated environment. This role oversees receiving, put-away, picking, cycle counting, inventory control, and outbound shipping while maintaining exceptional safety standards and adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
As a key member of the Supply Chain organization, the Warehouse Supervisor fosters a culture rooted in Safecor Health’s values—championing safety, building strong teams, and promoting operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with SOPs, Work Instructions, cGMP, OSHA, and all regulatory standards.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation to support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Develop, revise, and improve SOPs to drive excellence and consistency.
Safety & Facility Management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse that reflects Safecor Health’s commitment to employee well-being.
- Enforce EH&S protocols, PPE usage, and ergonomic best practices.
- Oversee maintenance and lifecycle planning for warehouse equipment, storage systems, and RF scanning devices.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse associates with a focus on accountability, respect, and teamwork.
- Manage scheduling, performance reviews, training records, and staffing plans.
- Partner with HR and leadership on hiring, promotions, and corrective actions when needed.
- Serve as backup support for direct reports.
ERP & Inventory Management
- Act as the warehouse ERP subject matter expert (WMS experience preferred).
- Monitor transactions daily, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure real-time inventory accuracy.
- Lead cycle counting, annual physical inventory, variance investigations, and KPI reporting.
- Use ERP reporting tools to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Shipping, Receiving & Material Flow
- Oversee all receiving operations including carrier scheduling, inspections, labeling, staging, and documentation.
- Manage outbound shipping, carrier coordination, packing list accuracy, and pedigree requirements.
- Investigate and resolve supplier discrepancies, freight issues, and damage claims.
- Ensure proper handling of controlled goods, restricted releases, returns, and specialized shipments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Production Control and Quality Assurance to support on-time manufacturing demand.
- Support layout improvements, racking projects, ERP changes, automation upgrades, and other facility initiatives.
- Communicate performance metrics and improvement opportunities to leadership.
Qualifications
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, ERP inventory transactions, and material flow management.
- Experience with cGMP, FDA, DEA, or other regulated environments preferred.
- Proficiency with RF scanners, cycle count programs, Hazmat basics, and inventory reconciliation.
- Ability to analyze data and recommend scalable process improvements.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead teams with clarity, consistency, and respect.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in warehouse or inventory management.
- Proven experience supervising hourly staff in a fast-paced operational environment.
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Forklift certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or sit for extended periods, and perform warehouse activities such as bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- Ability to hear facility warning systems and safely operate in an active warehouse environment.
- Moderate physical work as defined by job demands.
