A full-time, on-site School Psychologist opportunity is available in Dallas, TX, serving a K-12 educational setting with an anticipated contract from ASAP through May 21, 2026. This position involves working itinerantly across six schools, including one high school, one middle school, one intermediate school, and three elementary schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) as part of initial assessments.
- Manage all counseling evaluations and provide consultative counseling services, collaborating with Licensed Professional Counselors.
- Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings only when cases are controversial or parents express disagreement, with mandatory attendance at Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs).
- Maintain clear documentation and compliance with district and state regulations regarding student psychological services.
Qualifications
- Possession of a License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or an Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
- Experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred.
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload efficiently across multiple campuses.
- Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills.
