This opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential therapy services within a K-12 school setting. The position is based onsite in Pasadena, MD, serving multiple schools across the Baltimore area. The role is contract-based for the school calendar year, offering varying start dates with potential extensions into summer sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to preschool, elementary, and secondary students, adjusting approaches to meet developmental needs.
- Provide itinerant support across assigned schools, including community preschools and elementary and middle schools.
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in delivering effective therapy services.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
- Maintain compliance with district policies and licensure requirements.
Positions Available
- Full-time roles (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday) in preschool and elementary settings.
- Part-time role (30 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, with option for 5-day coverage) in a middle school environment.
Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children across preschool to middle school levels.
