A full-time School Nurse (RN) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school serving grades PreK-5 in Pittsford, NY. This contract role involves working Monday through Friday in the health room, providing essential nursing care and health services to support the wellbeing of young students.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily health room operations in an elementary school setting.
- Provide first aid, manage chronic conditions, and support students health needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student health.
- Maintain accurate health records and comply with school policies and healthcare regulations.
- Respond to emergencies and provide health education as needed.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a New York Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
