Providing virtual speech-language pathology services focused on teletherapy, this part-time contract opportunity supports K-12 students within a school setting in the Virginia Beach area. The essential skill set includes expertise in telepractice as an SLP, with bilingual Spanish language capabilities required to conduct assessments and provide therapy effectively.
Responsibilities
Deliver teletherapy and telespeech services to Spanish-speaking students across K-12 grade levels
Administer approximately two to three speech-language evaluations weekly on an as-needed basis
Utilize active Virginia SLP licensure to maintain compliance with state regulations
Collaborate remotely with school personnel and families to enhance student communication outcomes
Complete documentation and reporting in accordance with district protocols
Qualifications
Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license
Proficiency in providing speech services via teletherapy platforms
Bilingual fluency in Spanish, essential for effective communication and assessment
Experience Working With K-12 Student Populations Is Preferred
Flexibility to work part-time hours on a PRN (pro re nata) basis
