Travel Director of Pharmacy roles supporting hospitals and health-systems in smaller communities that could benefit from your experience.
This role allows you to provide strategic oversight and leadership at
25 to 100+bed facilities, making a meaningful impact on patient care and pharmacy staff.
Position Overview
- Location:Communities throughout California
- Facility: 25 to 100-bed hospital
- Start Date:Within 2-3 weeks
- Duration:13 weeks+ (potential for extension)
- Schedule:Monday Friday, day shifts (some flexibility needed)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all pharmacy operations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
- Optimize pharmacy workflow for efficiency and patient safety
- Participate in hospital committees and collaborate on initiatives
Ideal Candidate
- Active California Pharmacist License
- 2+ years of Inpatient Pharmacy Director, Assistant Pharmacy Director or Clinical/Pharmacy Operations Manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacy regulations and compliance
