A licensed specialist in school psychology is needed to support two campusesa combination of one elementary and one intermediate or middle schoolin Spring, TX. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a commitment to fostering student success through psychological assessment and collaborative intervention planning within a K-12 environment. Bilingual candidates are highly preferred to better serve the diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct approximately two psychological evaluations per week
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, staffings, and Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs)
- Collaborate with mental health specialists who provide counseling and related services
- Manage caseload efficiently across two school sites, balancing assessment and consultation duties
Qualifications And Experience
- Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credentialed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- Masters degree or higher from an accredited institution in school psychology or related field
- Experience working within K-12 school settings preferred
- Bilingual skills strongly preferred to enhance communication within school communities
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

- Contract assignment serving two campuses
