A 13-week contract opportunity is available for experienced medical laboratory professionals specializing in clinical lab work. This role focuses on sample receipt, accessioning, and lab bench activities with an emphasis on prenatal testing. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience working in clinical labs and be comfortable using personal protective equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities include accurate handling and processing of specimens, performing various laboratory tests primarily involving prenatal samples, and maintaining organized records within the laboratory information systems. Familiarity with Epic and Sunquest software, as well as CoPathPlus (LIS), is essential for managing test data and ensuring efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of clinical laboratory experience
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification preferred but not required
- Proficient in sample receipt, accessioning, and lab bench procedures
- Familiarity with prenatal testing protocols
- Comfortable working in full PPE
- Experience with Epic, Sunquest, and CoPathPlus (LIS) technology

Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with potential flexible hours between 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
