A contract position is available for a full-time Oregon-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist providing teletherapy services within a K-12 school setting. This role involves supporting approximately 50 students across all grade levels, focusing on telepractice delivery of speech-language services.
This opportunity offers a mat leave coverage assignment running from January 5th through May 29th, with a preference for overlap with the current SLP during the week of December 18th or 19th. The objective is to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of care for students.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Delivering teletherapy speech-language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Managing and maintaining caseload documentation and progress monitoring for around 50 students.
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals.
- Participating in virtual meetings and maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines relevant to school-based SLP services.
Qualifications And Experience Desired
- Valid Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Experience delivering teletherapy or telespeech services in an educational setting.
- Strong caseload management skills, especially in K-12 environments.
- Excellent communication abilities and collaborative approach to student support.
- Flexibility to start with an overlap period in mid-December and work through the end of the school year in late May.
