A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Wilkes Barre, PA. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 9, 2026, working 35 hours per week onsite. The caseload consists primarily of autistic, emotionally disturbed, and MDS students, with the current caseload nearing capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services to K-12 students with a variety of communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
Qualifications
- Valid CCC-SLP certification
- Experience in a school setting, preferably with K-12 autistic and emotionally disturbed populations
- Strong knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques for diverse speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
