A full-time 1:1 nursing position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Easton, PA, supporting K-12 students with multiple disabilities. This contract role serves two locations in Bucks County: Pipersville (elementary age classroom) and Langhorne (preschool/early intervention classroom). The start date is immediate, with assignment ending on June 12, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and support in a multiple disabilities classroom environment.
- Manage medical needs including tracheostomies, gastrostomy tubes, ventilators, seizure protocols, and emergency interventions.
- Ensure student safety during bus rides and daily activities.
- Collaborate closely with educators and therapists to support individualized health plans.
- Administer specialized care such as tube feeding, hypoglycemia management, and asthma care (Langhorne site).
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN or LPN license, depending on role.
- Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
- Competency and comfort working with complex medical equipment and protocols.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a dynamic educational setting.
