We’re hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time evening position in Springfield, MA. This is more than just a job—it’s a chance to be a hands-on partner in total quality patient care.
🕒 Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–8:00 PM EST (20 hours/week)
- Location: Onsite in Springfield, MA
- Evening Premium: Additional $7.50/hr for hours worked after 5:30 PM
- Hourly Pay Range: $21.37–$24.88 (based on experience, skills, and location)
- Sign-On Bonus: $4,000
🌟 What You’ll Do
As a key member of our pharmacy team, you’ll:
- Support patients and pharmacists with medication adherence and therapy check-ins
- Interpret, enter, and label prescriptions
- Prepare medications and supplies for delivery
- Resolve insurance issues and assist with financial support options
- Maintain inventory and manage drug ordering/receiving
- Communicate directly with patients to ensure understanding and compliance
- Participate in process improvement and operational excellence initiatives
🧠 What You Bring
- Certification: Nationally certified (CPhT) and registered with the state of employment
- Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 5+ years preferred
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Skills:Strong phone communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Quick learner with database systems
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities
