A full-time Behavioral Specialist with BCBA certification is sought to support students in K-12 self-contained programs in the Jacksonville, FL area. This contract position runs from ASAP through May 28, 2026, providing services on-site only.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers across 5-7 schools to improve behavioral outcomes
- Conduct observations and assist with data collection
- Develop functional behavioral assessments (FBAs)
- Model intervention strategies and offer ongoing support to staff
- Provide recommendations without delivering direct one-on-one services to students
Qualifications
- Active BCBA licensure required
- Experience with behavior support in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of multiple schools as an itinerant specialist
Location and Hours:
- Middleburg/Jacksonville, FL area
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- On-site work; this position is not open to virtual work or VOCO
