Located in Roseville, CA, this contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting for the current school year (CSY). The role focuses on supporting students with speech and language disorders through comprehensive assessment and intervention.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students with speech and language impairments to identify needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions focusing on speech and language development
- Monitor and maintain detailed documentation of student progress and outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate student care
- Engage families by educating and involving them in the therapy process to support student success
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a speech-language pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations highly desirable
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
- Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology
