A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services in a K-12 educational setting located in Eaton, OH. This contract position begins on December 15th and continues through the end of the school year. The role involves working with approximately 35 students, along with conducting new initial evaluations as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations for students in grades 6 through 12
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations to support special education eligibility and programming
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement appropriate educational plans
- Provide timely and accurate documentation and reports following assessments and interventions
- Support positive student outcomes through crisis intervention and behavioral consultation
Qualifications And Experience
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for Ohio schools
- Experience working with adolescents in grades 6-12 preferred
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, data analysis, and report writing
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities within educational teams
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines within a school calendar
