A retail and long-term care pharmacy technician position is available in Duluth, MN to cover a maternity leave. This contract role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment assisting pharmacists and supporting patients with their medication needs.
Schedule/Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (9 hours)
- Friday: 8:30 AM 3:00 PM (6.5 hours)
- This schedule extends through early February, totaling approximately 385.5 hours.
Responsibilities
- Accurately distribute prescribed medications as authorized by healthcare providers.
- Provide clear and knowledgeable information about medications to customers to ensure proper use.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to all patients and visitors.
- Support pharmacy staff in daily operations to maintain efficiency and compliance.
Desired Experience And Qualifications
- Valid MN Pharmacy Technician License is required.
- Previous experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Excellent communication skills to assist patients and healthcare professionals effectively.
