The Account Manager is responsible for growing sales and contact base within their assigned territory by visiting and calling on customers, prospects, and leads in their specialized market. An Account Manager is also responsible for receiving, processing, and recording customer’s orders with interaction with Company team members who support the ordering, delivery, and billing process.
Responsibilitie
s• Schedule outside sales visits and process outbound calls to market product sales; identify needs and opportunities; and find solutions for customers
.• Prospect, lead generations, follow-up, expand territory by growing contacts in other department
s• Receive customers’ calls, faxes and emails and provide quotes and/or information about products & services; processes concerns/problems; and enter orders using company software
.• Record special dispositions and notes related to customer’s situation by company system
s• Attend trade shows and set up booth and markets products
.• Attend computer and customer process training
.• Train new employees in processing customer accounts as needed
.• Open accounts for customers by creating new records in database
.• Track the disposition of customer deliveries
.• Cross sell and up-sell to all customers
.• Provide the customers with the opportunity to receive a sample, promotional product or evaluation order and follow-up in a timely manner to close sal
e• Troubleshoot work-related problems by sharing new ideas with other team members an

.• Refer customer requests for refunds, exchanges, and adjustments to Returns Department
.• Provide customer with estimate of shipping costs
.• Introduce/discuss our top product lines to every customer
.• Work with all company departments/teams to facilitate customer solutions: Manufacturing, Resource, Accounting, Returns, etc
.• Attend new and existing products training and team meeting

Qualificatio
ns• Preferred bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and experien
