The Senior Pharmacy Benefit Account Manager (AM) serves as the principle liaison with small to medium HealthTrust and CoreTrust PBM member companies. The AM establishes and maintains professional business relationships with member companies, their consulting teams, and the PBM supplier partner. The AD serves as a trusted advisor to the member(s) s/he supports, engaging member executives regularly ensuring the PBM supplier partner is delivering on all services in accordance with the contract. The AM has leadership responsibility to develop and maintain a robust account plan, and executing against that plan to identify opportunities for his/her accounts to improve operational and financial performance. The AM effectively gathers, analyzes, and interprets pharmacy-related data to present key opportunities to the member(s) s/he supports, as well as summarizing and presenting savings results and other key information to the member(s). The AM works to coordinate the PBM supplier resources to ensure that members are supported as effectively as possible, experiencing superior service that results in member loyalty and retention, as well as advocacy and promotion to prospective members. This position is office-based in Nashville, TN.
Position may require up to 25% travel, including overnight travel.
What you will do in this role:
Formulates and leads as one point of contact for cross-business unit strategies and plans for member- .Meets member specific targets for contract performance, trend management, savings and strategic objectives
- .Establishes productive, professional and consultative relationships with key benefit contact throughout member organization, building credibility and trust through collaboration
- .Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary HealthTrust, Coalition Consultant and PBM supplier personnel
- .Builds strategic partnerships with the member company and their consulting team to further advance the employee benefit strategic plan and company goals
- .Establishes strong relationships with key internal Account Directors and Managers, and Clinical Resources within HealthTrust to become a trusted adviso
- rGather and compile pharmacy-related data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- .Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in medication usage, patient outcomes, and costs
- .Develop and deliver reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving pharmacy operations, medication management, and cost efficiency

- eReview and evaluate changes in formulary strategy including exclusions, tier changes, and utilization management update
