A full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position is available to provide specialized behavioral support within a K-12 school setting in Wilmington, DE. This role focuses on delivering interventions and life-skills assistance to a kindergarten student exhibiting aggressive behaviors. The ideal candidate will have previous school-based experience working with similar student needs and hold or have held an active RBT certification.
Key Qualifications
- Active or previously held Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
- Proven experience as a school-based RBT, specifically supporting students with aggressive behaviors.
- Comfort and willingness to assist with life-skills support, including toileting and bathroom duties.
- Ability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM EST.
- Reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance.
- Willingness to complete required fingerprinting within the first few days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans tailored to student needs.
- Monitor and document student behavior and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Provide life-skills support as an essential component of the role.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and participate in assigned meetings and trainings.
