A K-12 Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Geneva, NE, for the remainder of the current school year. This contract position focuses on grades 2 through 8 and is based onsite, providing consistent face-to-face support to students in a structured school environment.
In this role, you will work closely with a caseload of 12-14 students, delivering tailored special education services primarily through pull-in support rather than classroom-based instruction. The position requires a dedicated teacher who is comfortable collaborating with colleagues and delivering individualized interventions. A mentor will be provided to support your professional growth and ensure a smooth transition into the school's special education team.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitoring student progress, and adapting instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Maintaining communication with families and school staff to coordinate services is also essential.
