Position Overview:
As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining productivity and quality standards, as well as legal and company compliance, as you assist in the preparation of prescriptions in an outpatient pharmacy setting.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations including workflow, maintenance of quality control standards and compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
- Manage and develop pharmacy staff including hiring, training, performance reviews, and employee relations
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, doctors and insurance companies
- Ensure proper stocking and inventory management of pharmaceutical supplies
- Process prescriptions accurately and within legal turnaround times
Skills Required:
- License: Active and in-good-standing Colorado Pharmacist License
- Education: Pharm. D.
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience in a retail setting
- Previous management experience preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
- Excellent customer service focus
