The Role: High-Volume Engagement & Member Navigation
As a Pharmacy Member Engagement Specialist, you will be the frontline expert, proactively contacting members to guide them toward lower-cost medication options and savings channels. Your success directly translates into lower healthcare costs for families.
What You'll Do
- Savings Outreach: Make 200-400 outbound calls weekly to connect members with savings opportunities.
- Expert Navigation: Confidently guide conversations about switching to lower-cost medication options (e.g., biosimilars, mail order) and appropriate channels.
- Objection Handling: Skillfully address and overcome objections from diverse individuals, from union workers and front-line staff to nurse practitioners and C-suite executives.
- Simplify the Complex: Explain confusing concepts like prior authorization requirements, copay accumulator impacts, and formulary restrictions in clear, simple language.
- Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional member satisfaction and recommend improvements to our engagement strategy to maximize outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain extreme attention to detail by meticulously documenting every interaction in our clinical tools.
- Goal Achievement: Achieve and consistently exceed member engagement goals.
Requirements
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in your residential state.
- 2+ years of outbound call experience (e.g., sales, patient outreach, MDM, or similar).
- 1+ year of community/retail pharmacy experience.
- Proven track record of hitting call volume/conversion metrics.
- Comfort discussing money and insurance benefits.
- Extreme attention to detail in documentation.
Preferred:- Specialty pharmacy experience.
- Prior authorization navigation experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred).
- Experience with employer-sponsored benefits.
Compensation & Benefits:Base Compensation: $23/hour
Benefits: Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance, 401k
Schedule: 40 hours/week; Must be available 9 am – 6 pm in the Eastern or Central time zones.
