Inventory Analyst
This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. The role is responsible for managing and ensuring accurate inventory levels, controlling day to day inventory accuracy, ensuring that production supplies are approved and available to meet production schedules, and completing annual physical inventories. This is an analytical position that requires strong attention to detail, strong investigative and analysis skills, and strong computer skills. Moreover, the role is responsible for promoting our mission of improving patient outcomes with high quality outsourced pharmaceuticals.

Essential Functions
Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy through cycle counts, raw material and finished goods processing and inventory management. Devises and enhances policies, practices and procedures in the areas of inventory control.
- Maintaining and improving the company's inventory situation by ensuring accuracy, analyzing inventory statistics, and performing cycle counts
- Tracking availability of raw materials and incoming shipments.
- Ensuring inventory is approved and stored as required for meeting production schedules.
- Performing extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports, from previous inventory reports and computer-based history to current inventories and future deliveries
- Aiding buyers and IC technicians in advising of issues and shortages.
- Performing regular inventory counts and reporting data
- Drafting inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data.
- Manages cycle counting of physical materials and ensures accuracy of stock levels.
- Reconciles potential inventory losses, investigates shortages and discrepancies, and performs KPI indicator assessments.
- Processes rejected materials, waste materials, and records/reports information
- Responsible for accurate stock issuance and returns for production activities and documenting and investigating inaccuracies.
- Acts as backup to warehouse specialists in picking, receiving, and shipping
- Works in other functions within the department, as needed.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods when required
Experience and Necessary Skills
- High School Diploma required, BS/BA (or equivalent experience) preferred
- 3-5 years of warehouse experience with 1-3 years in a pharmaceutical environment preferred
- Knowledge of cGMP guidelines/standards required
- Demonstrated written and oral communications skills
- Ability to manage time and adhere to time frames
- Detail and accuracy oriented
- Computer abilities including data management
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of processing materials in an ERP system, specifically Great Plains
