Responsibilities: - Conceptual Design: Utilize your creativity and problem-solving skills to create comprehensive software designs for packaging equipment in industrial and commercial environments including pharmaceutical processing.
- Development and Improvement: Work hands-on to create new developments and improve existing designs to meet customer and organizational needs.
- Lean Team Collaboration: Collaborate with like-minded individuals to meet customer needs efficiently in a Lean environment.
- Project Management: Ensure project requirements and schedules are met.
- Team Assistance: Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to assist other members of the team.
- Technical Expertise:
- OOP: Strong experience with Object-Oriented programming languages
- Modern Design Concepts: Stay up to date with the latest trends in software design and apply them to enhance our systems.
- Programming Language: .NET Stack with C# and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
- Database: MS SQL or another relational database
- Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and support.
- Project/Product Lifecycle: Contribute to the entire lifecycle of products and projects from design through post installation support.
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or equivalent required. Higher education degree in Software Engineering, or another related field recommended.
- Proven experience in software development and support.
- Existing experience in warehouse and materials handling equipment design including conveyors, sortation systems, print and apply, and other packaging systems.
- Existing experience in Pharmacy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft based office software (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong understanding of modern software systems.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Initiative-taking attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license or eligible to receive one.
- Ability to travel to vendor and customer sites for startup and support of systems.

- Must have the ability to have manual dexterity to operate equipment and tools required on the job.
- Must have the ability to use a computer and sit for extended periods of time while doing so.
Reporting Structure: You’ll report directly to the Director of Software Engineering, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
