Travel or Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Infusion/Oncology Pharmacist for a travel assignment in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. This is a MondayFriday, daytime schedule within an established infusion clinic. Full-time hours with competitive weekly pay and full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k) are included.
This role is ideal for a pharmacist who is passionate about oncology care and enjoys working closely with providers, patients, and caregivers to optimize outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered support within a multidisciplinary oncology team
- Deliver cancer therapy education, toxicity monitoring, and supportive care management
- Collaborate with oncology providers and assist in treatment decisions
- Serve as a clinical resource for evidence-based pharmacologic options
- Prospectively review patient charts to identify and prevent medication-related issues
- Evaluate therapy appropriateness using guidelines and primary literature
- Assess treatment effectiveness and safety
- Guide personalized treatment approaches for individual patients
- Manage adverse reactions and counsel patients and providers
Requirements (Required)
- Active California Pharmacist license
- Current Oncology Pharmacy experience or completion of a PGY2 Oncology Residency
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to evaluate literature and apply treatment guidelines
- Prior experience in infusion or oncology clinic settings is highly preferred
