School Psychologist (Immediate Opening Remainder of 20252026School Year)

About The Position
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
School Psychologist to join our student support team for the remainder of the 20252026school year. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services to support students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development across multiple grade levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate as a member of multidisciplinary teams to determine eligibility for special education and related services.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Provide direct counseling services to students individually and in small groups.
- Support the implementation of MTSS/RTI and positive behavioral supports.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services and evaluations.
- Consult with staff regarding strategies to enhance student learning and emotional well-being.
Qualifications
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) certification as a School Psychologist.
- Knowledge of special education law, evaluation procedures, and behavioral interventions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
