Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual psychoeducational assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Support MTSS/RTI initiatives and provide virtual counseling or consultation as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with Florida and federal special education regulations.
Requirements
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active Florida School Psychologist certification/license
- 2+ years of school-based experience preferred
- Proficiency in conducting virtual assessments and writing comprehensive reports
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, eligibility criteria, and state compliance
- Comfort and confidence using teletherapy technology
Technology Requirements
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Laptop or desktop computer (Chromebooks and tablets not supported)
- Successful completion of a brief tech screen check to ensure system compatibility
