We are seeking a
dedicated and flexible Clinical Pharmacist for an exciting full-time opportunity in the Ventura County area. This role offers the possibility of becoming a permanent position (Temp-to-Hire) for the right candidate.
Position Details
- Position: Pharmacist
- Setting: Hospital/Infusion Center System
- Location: Ventura, CA
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Approximately 3 to 6 months, with the potential for Temp-to-Hire conversion.
- Schedule: Full-time hours, with variable 8-hour and 10-hour shifts. This includes swing shifts, rotating weekends (every other), and holidays.
Role Options (Candidate Preference Considered)
- Option 1: Float Pharmacist: The role requires floating between three key locations within the system: the main hospital pharmacy, a satellite hospital, and the Infusion Center pharmacy.
- Option 2: Infusion/Oncology Focus: Dedicated work within the Infusion Center pharmacy, specializing in chemotherapy and oncology medications.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Active Pharmacy License: Must possess a valid, active California Pharmacist License.
- Experience Required:
- PGY1 Residency or equivalent clinical experience is required.
- Chemotherapy and Oncology experience is required (especially for Option 2).
- Prior experience with the Cerner electronic health record system is required.
- Candidate Preference: Local candidates are strongly preferred, but we may consider travel candidates if a local fit cannot be secured.
