Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in Pre-K through 5th grade.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the unique learning styles and needs of each student.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages social and academic growth.
Qualifications
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience teaching special education students from Pre-K to 5th grade.
- Strong understanding of individualized instruction and behavior management techniques.
