Responsibilities include providing direct speech therapy services primarily within designated speech-only rooms, managing cases, and supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). The position requires on-site presence three days a week at one elementary school and two days at another. Strong skills in telespeech and teletherapy are essential to maintain a robust and effective online presence for therapy delivery.
Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Current California SLP-CCC certification
- Ability to work full-time for the entire semester duration
- Experience serving elementary-aged children, with familiarity in preschool and transitional preschool settings
- Capability to case manage and supervise SLPAs effectively
- Excellent online communication skills for delivering teletherapy
- Must reside in California and complete Live Scan fingerprinting as required
