A healthcare facility in Carthage, NY, is seeking an experienced Breast Sonographer to join on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities
- Perform breast ultrasound examinations following established protocols.
- Accurately analyze images and findings to prepare detailed clinical reports.
- Work independently within a multidisciplinary team to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout all imaging procedures.
Qualifications And Desired Experience
- ARDMS certification in Breast Ultrasound (BR) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an ultrasound technologist specializing in breast imaging.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage documentation efficiently.
- Travel experience is essential, with the role covering a 75-mile radius. Local candidates within this range may be eligible for a local rate.
Schedule and Location:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
