An immediate opportunity is available for a bilingual Spanish-speaking Speech-Language Pathologist to support a K-12 school district. This contract position offers approximately 20 hours per week (.5 FTE) from the start of the school year through the end of the school year, with the potential to increase to full-time based on student needs. The role covers services across three campuses in Cypress, TX.
Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12, conducting assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting students communication development in a positive and supportive environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required
- Experience providing therapy in K-12 school settings
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to engage with students, parents, and staff effectively
