Description
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Market Data & Business Intelligence Analyst to support our Global Marketing and US Commercial teams with data-driven insights and strategic market analysis. This role will assist in building market share reports with executive visibility, analyzing sales and marketing data, maintaining market models, and supporting market research projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate, categorize and analyze market, sales and healthcare claims data; Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly market and share tracking reports with actionable insights for internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reporting tools using Excel or Power BI.
- Assist in the update of market forecast models and identity historical and future trends for the annual strategic and business planning.
- Support ad hoc projects and research on market, competition and sales analytics
- Conduct primary and secondary research to gather competitive intelligence and customer insights.
- Strong project management skills and can drive collaboration and coordination cross-functionally with IT, Marketing, Commercial, Finance, and Marketing teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or market research.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including experience with Pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data manipulation.
- Experience with business Intelligence and data visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with diagnostics, medical device or healthcare database and tools like IQVIA, Clarivate, Nielsen or Circana is a plus.
- Experience with market modeling
- Experience with competitive intelligence methodologies and tools.
