This full-time, on-site position calls for a bilingual (English/Spanish) school psychologist serving K-12 students within a dynamic school district in the Chicago area. The role requires supporting multiple school sites with a flexible caseload that will be finalized upon placement. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in psychology, along with the ability to engage with diverse student populations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations, assessments, and provide counseling services to K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans and interventions.
- Assist in identifying students social, emotional, and learning needs to promote academic success.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and support compliance with educational regulations and best practices.
- Manage a caseload across multiple schools, adapting strategies to meet varied student requirements.
Qualifications And Experience
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License and Illinois School Psychologist License.
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to culturally responsive practices.
Location: Elgin, IL (Chicago Area)
Schedule: Full-time, up to 37.5 hours per week
