A full-time Special Education Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students across multiple school locations in the Live Oak, CA area. This contract role runs from ASAP through May 28, 2026, serving an itinerant caseload that requires travel between Spring Valley School, Bangor Elementary School, and Berry Creek Elementary School.
Responsibilities include providing speech-language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs, collaborating with educational staff and families, conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
Qualifications And Experience
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- California Teaching Credential (CTC) in Special Education
- Experience working with K-12 students within a school setting
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload, including reliable transportation for multi-site coverage
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and state educational guidelines
