The Role:
As the Director, Implementation, you will lead a team of Implementation Managers to ensure that customer projects are delivered on time and on budget. You will also oversee multiple projects at one time and will serve as an escalation point for any issue that arise during the installation of the automated pharmacy systems. In addition, you will partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed on project status and address any potential project scope changes. You will also be crucial for driving key strategic continuous improvement initiatives across the Customer Success organization.
What you’ll do:
- Hire, mentor, and develop a team of Implementation Managers to deliver successful customer outcomes.
- Plan, forecast, and schedule project staffing to ensure optimal resource allocation across multiple customer implementations.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) Team to align project plans with customer requirements, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with third-party contractors to assist with on-time delivery of installations.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for implementation-related issues, driving swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Support customer onboarding by assisting with initial system training and operational handoff for new installations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across implementation processes, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams, with a proven ability to manage performance and drive results.
- 5+ years of experience delivering large-scale industrial or logistics projects within complex, technical, or automated environments.
- Demonstrated success managing project budgets up to $50M and schedules spanning 12–18 months, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Highly organized, with strong planning and prioritization skills across multiple concurrent projects.
- Exceptional communicator, skilled at building relationships and collaborating effectively with customers, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
- Able to obtain required clearances and access to secure or government-controlled facilities.
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Even better if you have:
- 2+ years of experience in Pharmacy, Pharmacy Automation, or Pharmacy Operations, or in a related healthcare technology environment.
- Demonstrated success developing and mentoring leaders to build high-performing technical or project teams.
- Experience reading, interpreting, and modifying CAD drawings to support design and installation planning.
- Hands-on experience with automation or control systems, particularly in industrial or healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in data analysis, including creating and running SQL queries to support project insights or performance tracking.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training.

Compensation:
The estimated base annual salary range for this position is $127,779.37 to $172,877.97, though a candidate's base annual salary shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience. This position may additionally be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
