A full-time School Psychologist position is available for a K-12 school in Humble, TX, starting January 5th for the full semester. This contract role requires a dedicated professional to work 37.5 hours per week, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM daily, with flexibility for one day to be hybrid.
This position primarily focuses on re-evaluations, with no responsibility for initial evaluations or RTI assessments. Parent request meetings may occur occasionally but are limited. The role serves three campuses and is supported by a team of seven other on-site psychologists within the district.
Ideal candidates will have at least one to two years of experience in school psychology. Bilingual skills are considered a significant advantage, though not a requirement for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct re-evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels
- Participate in parent request meetings as needed
- Collaborate with a team of school psychologists across multiple campuses
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation and reports
- Adhere to district policies and procedures regarding evaluations
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
- Minimum of one to two years of practical experience in a school setting
