Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals.
- Operate Siemens C Cam and Siemens Intivo Spect/CT imaging equipment effectively.
- Review providers orders and collaborate with Radiologists as necessary.
- Prepare, calibrate, document, and administer radiopharmaceuticals via injection, ingestion, and inhalation.
- Conduct SPECT imaging and evaluate recorded images for technical quality.
- Maintain daily activity logs and manage supply inventory, including ordering and storage.
- Perform preventive safety inspections and daily quality assurance on all nuclear medicine equipment.
- Ensure radiation protection for patients, staff, and self by adhering to prescribed safety standards and operating radiation detection devices.
Desired Experience And Qualifications
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with proven expertise in nuclear medicine imaging.
- Knowledge of safe handling and administration of radioactive materials.
- Ability to interpret and verify provider orders in coordination with Radiologists.
- Familiarity with Siemens nuclear medicine imaging systems.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and quality assurance testing.
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and communication skills.
