Brief Description
The Warehouse Technician I is responsible for accurately performing warehouse operations involving the picking and packing of pharmaceutical products. This role ensures products are selected, verified, and packaged in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. Warehouse Technicians may be assigned to focus on either picking or packing depending on operational needs, and are cross-trained to support both areas as business demands shift. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Essential Functions
- Accurately pick pharmaceutical products according to order details and verify lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates.
- Pack orders according to packing lists, ensuring correct labeling, dunnage, and secure packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate RF scanners and utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to record inventory movement and maintain traceability.
- Ensure that products meet all FDA, DEA, and company quality standards before shipment.
- Collaborate with Quality and Shipping teams to resolve product discrepancies, shortages, or documentation issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area that meets GMP and OSHA safety standards.
- Support cycle counts, replenishment, and other warehouse activities as needed.
- Cross-train with other warehouse team members to assist in receiving, shipping, or inventory when required.
- Identify and report any operational or safety issues to leadership promptly.
- Adhere to all company safety, quality, and compliance procedures

Physical Demands
This position routinely uses material handling and packaging equipment, computers, and handheld scanners. Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively for up to 8 hours per day.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. EST. Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
Required Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical and/or 3PL environment.
- Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
