Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Pharmacy Technician at the call center pharmacy located in Columbus, OH. The MTM Pharmacy Technician will provide support in reviewing prescriptions and assisting with medication therapy management services. Responsibilities also include delivering excellent customer service in a call center environment and collaborating with pharmacists to ensure high-quality patient care.
Core Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls from patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers, providing exceptional customer service.
- Deliver general medication guidance and escalate clinical questions to licensed pharmacists as needed.
- Complete adherence and 90-day conversion tasks while accurately documenting all communications in compliance with HIPAA.
- Collaborate with pharmacies and healthcare providers to support timely prescription refills.
- Conduct comprehensive medication reviews and perform medication reconciliation to ensure patient safety and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally in a call center setting
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Familiarity with Medication Therapy Management (MTM) practices is a plus
- Commitment to teamwork and a focus on patient-centered care
- High school diploma or equivalent required
