Overview
We are looking for an Associate Scientist to support reagent manufacturing and testing for Transfusion Medicine products. This position involves both laboratory work and documentation to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing of new Transfusion Medicine products.
- Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and document results.
- Support investigations for nonconformances and customer complaints.
- Assist in improving reagent manufacturing processes and test methods.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Follow Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and comply with GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations.
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM (schedule provided 2 weeks in advance).
- Saturday work: 1–2 times per month (8:00 AM–2:30 PM).
- Must be flexible with scheduling.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years of relevant lab experience (entry-level considered).
- Familiar with laboratory instruments (experience with Abbott Instruments is a plus).
- Knowledge of GLP, GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
