Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a Compounding Pharmacist or Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our in-person team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is a full-time, non-legal position supporting our pharmacy law attorneys and clients with regulatory, operational, and compliance matters related to compounding pharmacy practice.
The ideal candidate has direct, hands-on compounding experience (sterile, non-sterile, or both), a strong understanding of relevant federal and state regulations (including USP <795>, <797>, <800>, FDA guidance, and state board rules), and is comfortable advising professionals across a range of pharmacy settings. Experience working in or with 503A and 503B facilities is highly desirable.
This is an in-person role based in our Scottsdale office. A relocation package is available for qualified out-of-state candidates. Occasional work outside regular business hours may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide regulatory and operational guidance to attorneys and pharmacy clients
- Assist in preparing clients for inspections, audits, and licensing applications
- Interpret and apply compounding-related standards and laws (USP, FDA, state boards)
- Participate in client consultations and contribute to strategy development
- Draft summaries and recommendations on pharmacy law and compliance issues
- Support legal staff in developing client resources and policy templates
Qualifications and Skills:
- Required: Hands-on experience in a compounding pharmacy setting (sterile, non-sterile, or both)
- Required: CPhT certification or active Pharmacist license (any U.S. state)
- Strong working knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, FDA compounding guidance, and relevant state regulations
- Prior experience with 503A or 503B operations strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical and regulatory topics
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with pharmacy operations tools or regulatory research platforms is a plus
Pay:
Competitive, depending on credentials and experience
- Estimated Range for Pharmacist: $135,000-180,000
- Estimated Range for Pharmacy Technician: $70,000-$100,000

Schedule:
