Director of DSS, (Data Strategy and Solutions)

Role Overview:

The Director of Data Strategy & Solutions (DSS) will serve as the strategic leader responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing VytleOne’s enterprise data architecture. This role ensures data is governed, discoverable, trusted, and aligned to business priorities. The Director will lead the enablement of next-gen analytics for pharmacy services and 340B programs using cloud-based infrastructure and AI-forward capabilities.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute a comprehensive data strategy across cloud, EMR, and analytics pipelines using Azure Synapse and Databricks.
- Establish master data management practices for provider, patient, and claims data across VytleOne systems.
- Design and govern centralized data architecture to streamline 340B, contract pharmacy, and payer analytics use cases.
- Develop data quality metrics and enforce governance best practices in support of regulatory and business standards.
- Lead a team of data engineers, architects, and analysts responsible for scalable, compliant, and efficient data products.
- Enable AI experimentation by building reusable pipelines for ML model integration and cloud-native analytics.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture or advanced analytics with a focus on healthcare or life sciences.
- Hands-on experience in Azure, Databricks, EMR integration, and structured data governance.
- Strong understanding of 340B data, regulatory requirements, and downstream execution implications.
- Expertise in leading cross-functional teams to translate strategy into deployable solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field required; Master’s preferred (MS, MHA, MBA).
