JOB DESCRIPTION
Working closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance and IT teams, Sr. Manager, Sales and Operations Planning is responsible for development, refinement and execution of the S&OP process to help plan and fulfill customer demand while optimizing internal processes and cost. This role is also responsible for assisting with creation and maintenance of financial, commercial and operational models to help with planning and execution. Additionally, this role will work closely with Sr Manager, Customer Excellence to assist with Fleet tracking, management and leveraging insights relevant to S&OP process.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of S&OP process for Advanced Solutions BU, including responsibility of coordinating across functions to improve forecast accuracy, inventory availability and fulfilment of customer demand in accordance with internal and external SLAs
- Create and drive continuous improvement of world-class demand planning and S&OP processes
- Ownership of demand planning model and capital planning process in conjunction with Sr. Manager, Customer Excellence and Analytics to continually refine the model and improve accuracy of forecast, including capex needs
- Develop financial/statistical models to optimize safety stock while ensuring OTIF (On time, in full) metric is above acceptable threshold
- Monitor forecast vs actual demand, inventory levels, changes in expected demand or fulfilment capabilities and communicate effectively across the organization
- Develop standardized templates and data sources to allow for issues to be discussed, actions planned, executed and effectiveness followed up on
- Lead the weekly Resuable BU S&OP meeting and recommend/execute process changes to drive improvements
- Develop and publish reporting on overall sales and operational performance for Advanced SU BU, including forecast accuracy, margins, on time/in full performance, quality issues etc
- Leading and/or participating in various projects with the aim of improving our End-2-End Supply Chain reliability and planning processes
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- BS/BA, MBA with a focus on Supply Chain, Transportation or a comparable field highly preferred or equivalent level of experience.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience with leadership of S&OP processes
- In-depth logistics/forwarding experience in Life Science, Pharma, Healthcare, Medical Device industry sectors preferred
- Good understanding of various systems and integrations including ERP, WMS, data warehouse etc..
- Advanced knowledge of computers and Microsoft Products, including Expert level skills in financial modeling using MS Excel
- Proven ability to build and maintain productive cross-functional relationships
